My 5 Favorite Arrangements (Includes Sheet Music/TAB)

My top 5 favorite arrangement include:

Moonlight Sonata (1st Movement) by Beethoven

Malagueña (Easy Arrangement)

Adagio in G Minor (A min transposed)

Greensleeves

House of the Rising Sun

Moonlight Sonata is just a classic piece of music by one of the greatest composers of all time. I didn’t know if it would work on guitar but I did listen to other versions so I figured it was possible. I get requests all of the time to arrange the fast third movement but I don’t know about that.

The Malagueña is a CLASSIC. I actually have two arrangements of this piece. The other is a harder arrangement which you can find here:

The next three arrangements are all “easy arrangements.” I realize “easy” is in the eye of the beholder. My goal was to simplify them as much as possible while still allowing the “essence” to come through.

All of these are available through my membership. With that you get ALL of my sheet music and tabs as well as ALL of my video lessons. You can learn more here: https://robertlunn.com/become-a-member

MALAGUENA – Full Tutorial with TAB – Fingerstyle Guitar

Malaguena performed by Robert Lunn

The word, Malagueña, means a few different things. It refers to folk music from Venezuela, it also refers to a type of traditional flamenco music from Andalusian. I first came across this melody when I heard somebody perform Francisco Tarrega’s arrangement of the song.

I have made two arrangements of the Malaguena: an easy version and a hard version. This arrangement is the harder version. This arrangement contains harmonics, rasgueados, and tremolo. It’s a great melody and I have always loved playing it.

I hope you enjoy this teaching video. You can see more like this at my guitar school found on my website.

Malagueña – Easy Arrangement – Full Tutorial with TAB – Fingerstyle Guitar

Malagueña performed by Robert Lunn

Here is a full guitar lesson on an easy arrangement I made of the famous song, Malaguena. It’s a passionate song that I always imagine two passionate lovers dancing to it when I play it.

I have always loved this song and decided to finally make an arrangement of it. The arrangement is in two parts. There is an opening section, which is then repeated at the end. There is also a slower, song-like middle section.

Malagueña (Easy Arrangement)

Malagueña performed by Robert Lunn

I’ve always loved the Malagueña. In the last couple of weeks I have made two arrangements of it. This arrangement and another arrangement that is a little harder. I’ll post the other version as soon as I learn it! You can get the score/tab at my website. I also teach this arrangement at my guitar school found at my website.
