I composed Fuego a few days ago. I am not a flamenco guitarist and I have never studied but I do love listening to it. In this piece I incorporated some of the elements that I have heard in various pieces.

Frédéric Chopin is one of my favorite composers and I have always loved this prelude. I first heard this for guitar when I was listening to a recording by Andres Segovia. For this transcription I transposed it to the key of D major from the original key, A major.

Dance of the Red Dragon is a piece I composed for a guitar student. I wanted to write a piece that was fairly easy to play and that used rasgueados. This piece was also designed to be played at different speeds depending on the students skill level.

Ebb and Flow comes from my Red Guitar Suite which I composed back in 2012-2013. The suite was inspired by my 1972 Ramirez. In this performance I added a delay effect as well as a slight modulation. When I perform it live I will often begin with an improvisation before going into the song which I may or may not use delay with. I think it works both ways.

Leyenda is the piece that made me want to learn classical guitar. Before I heard this piece I was playing a lot of electric guitar and had dreams of being the next Eddie Van Halen. When I heard a recording of John Williams playing this I thought….WOW I MUST LEARN THIS!! Anyways, I hope you enjoy learning this song.
Francisco Tarrega is one of my favorite composers for the guitar. He was a Spanish composer who lived from 1852-1909. He composed many wonderful pieces for guitar from beginner level pieces although to pieces for the most skilled virtuosos.
Maria Luisa was composed by the Argentine guitarist, Julio Sagreras. Sagreras was a guitarist, teacher and composer. He wrote a series of guitar methods that are still used today. The piece is composed in the style of a mazurka, which is Polish dance.
Here is my arrangement for classical/fingerstyle guitar of one of the themes found in the movie, Interstellar. The music was written by Hans Zimmer, Alex Gibson, and Ryan Rubin. The movie was directed by Christopher Nolan.
Shenandoah is an old folk song that first appeared during the early 1800s. Over the years it has had a variety of different lyrics written to the melody. One common thread is they all refer to the Missouri River.
