Learn Canon in D!!
Canon in D is a much loved piece of music composed by Johann Pachelbel. It is a favorite at weddings (I’ve played it many times at weddings) and funerals. It was originally composed for 3 violins and basso continuo. You can see the full version at my guitar school found on my website.
Fun Stretching/Finger Independence Exercise
Here is a fun little stretching/finger independence exercise. It is dark and chromatic which gives it a little Halloween-ish feel to it. You can see more videos like this at my guitar school.
Moonlight Sonata Arranged for Guitar
Adelita by Francisco Tárrega
Adelita by Francisco Tárrega is a gorgeous piece of music. I began playing electric guitar in high school and I started classical guitar in college. After a year of studying classical guitar I remember playing this in a student recital. This is a Mazurka, which is a type of Polish dance. You can learn this at my guitar school found on my website.
The Godfather (Love Theme) arranged for Guitar
I’ve only seen the movie, The Godfather, once. What really stuck out to me in that movie was the music. This is an arrangement of the love theme I did a few years ago. You can learn this at my guitar school found on my website.
Tremolo Exercise (One Minute Lesson)
The tremolo technique can be a tough technique to do. This is an exercise that can help smooth out the tremolo. A lot of times the tremolo can be uneven. This practice exercise can help make it more even. You can see more of these exercises at my guitar school.
Für Elise (Opening Theme) by Beethoven
This arrangement for guitar of the famous Für Elise by Beethoven comes from my second volume of easy arrangements. I have always loved this piece and used to play it on piano a long time ago. You can learn this at my guitar school found on my website.
